We can deliver a show with as little as 2 weeks’ notice, making us one of the fastest in the industry. However, the more time we have, the more detailed and tailored your experience can be. Longer lead times allow us to create fully custom 3D animations, scout your venue in depth, secure special approvals, and refine the choreography to perfectly fit your event.
Our shows start at $15,000. Pricing depends on factors like the number of drones, your location, how complex the animations are, and whether you’d like multiple sequences or custom branding. Smaller shows are ideal for private events, while larger budgets can unlock stadium-scale spectacles that reach thousands of people. Every proposal includes creative design, logistics, pilots, and flight operations so you know exactly what’s included.
Drones can handle light rain and mild winds, but for safety reasons, we won’t fly in heavy rain, lightning, or high winds. If weather is a concern, we work with you to plan backup options such as adjusting the flight time, shifting to another day, or scaling the show for safer conditions. Our team monitors the weather closely leading up to your event to make the best call for a safe and memorable performance.
Safety is our top priority. Every FlyLight show is operated by FAA-certified pilots using GPS-tracked drones with built-in safety redundancies. We keep flight paths carefully planned and well above spectators, run test flights before showtime, and monitor the drones live during the performance. Our fleet is regularly maintained, and we carry full insurance coverage to protect you, your guests, and your venue.
Yes. FlyLight takes care of all FAA approvals, local permits, and site-specific logistics so you don’t have to. This includes coordinating with city officials, venue managers, and local airspace authorities. Whether your event is in the middle of downtown or at a rural venue, we know how to navigate the approval process quickly and efficiently.
The minimum show size is 150 drones. This is enough to create impactful shapes, logos, and storytelling sequences that wow a crowd. For larger events like festivals, stadiums, or city celebrations, we recommend anywhere from 300 to 800+ drones. The more drones we use, the sharper and more detailed the animations become, from lifelike characters to complex brand logos that fill the sky.
